Wooden floors [don't fake it]

I like a wooden floor, it brings warmth to a home and gives it sort of a Scandinavian feel. What I don't like is a floor that pretends to be wood, but isn't. To me that's basically lying. If you don't like wood because it is a living material and therefore shrinks, expands etc. than just get a different material. Don't fake it.
