F.S.C. Ventile Parka

During WWII, Churchill had the British military develop a 100% cotton waterproof fabric to be used as firehoses because rubber was on ration. Known as Ventile, it's water-resistance made Ventile ideal for use in immersion flight suits for the RAF pilots who were getting shot down over the channel. Unlike synthetic fabrics such as Gore-Tex, the Ventile Parka produces almost no noise when in use and, because it is 100% natural, it remains breathable while protecting against wind & rain.
