I like the photos of Tommy Ton better than other style bloggers (read "the Sartorialist"), mainly because you can see in his work that he thinks more about good composition as opposed to only capturing a nice outfit. Furthermore he shoots a lot of detail photos, which I like.

Russia's Inflatable Army

This is not a joke. A colleague of mine tipped me about Russia's inflatable army. For years now the Russian army has been using inflatable jets, tanks, and trucks as decoys. These dummies are indistinguishable from the real thing at a distance. Imagine that you are doing a recon flight above Russian territory and see all these rocket launchers, you will think twice about attacking that area...
